How do I make a book an apartment or arrange a viewing?
You can book directly on our website by checking availability for the preferred apartment. Alternatively, you can get in touch with us by calling +44(0)207 386 9423 or by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What time can I check-in?
Our usual check in time is 3pm, however an early check in may be possible so please do let us know your arrival times in advance so we can make sure your check in arrangements are made accordingly.
What time do I need to check-out?
Check-out time is 10.00am, unless a later check out has been arranged in advance with Management. Late check out fees may apply.
How do I check in?
Check-in procedures are provided to each guest in advance. During usual working hours, one of our members of staff will show you the apartment in person. On occasion though, we may provide you with detailed self-check-in instructions. If in doubt, please contact us directly as we may not have been provided with your contact details.
Is there a reception desk?
Yes, there is. However, as Castletown House is a Self-Catering establishment, the reception desk is manned for limited hours during the day.
We are, however, contactable 24/7 for emergencies and urgent matters and questions that can be dealt with over the telephone and in between our office hours for any other matter.
We always ask guests to contact us at any time should they need to.
What services and facilities are included in the nightly rate?
All our apartments are fully furnished and come with free WIFI, complimentary coffee and tea, toiletries, fresh towels and linen as standard.
The kitchens/kitchenettes are equipped with kitchenware, cutlery and crockery, as well as fridge/freezer kettle, microwave, cooker. Except for our basic studio, all apartments also have a washer/dryer and oven. Some of the larger apartments are also equipped with a dishwasher.
In the living areas, you will find a flat screen TV, DVD player, book/DVD library. The apartments also provide an iron and ironing board.
Rates also include a weekly housekeeping service (including fresh bed linen and towels change), washing up liquid and laundry tablets.
What is not include in the rates?
Although most of these services are available upon request for additional fees, the following are not included as standard: daily maid service, daily towel/linen change, laundry tablets and plug adaptors. The apartments do not have a telephone, however there is a payphone in the lobby available for use. Charges apply for calls, except for calls made to Management, which are free of charge.
What is the nearest station to Castletown House?
West Kensington station is nearest and is only 2 minutes’ away.
You may however find that if you are travelling on the underground from Heathrow Airport, alighting at Barons Court station, which is a 7-minute walk from Castletown House, may be easier.
Is there parking available?
Castletown House does not have private parking unfortunately, however there is Pay & Display parking available, charged Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm - £2.20 per hour. Parking is free of charge outside the controlled times. The maximum stay for pay and display parking is eight hours, unless otherwise indicated. On-street pay and display charges do not apply on bank holidays, unless otherwise indicated. Please note that at times, there may be temporary restrictions (for local events, for example) so if you require parking, please enquire with us beforehand.
Do you have free internet?
Complimentary WIFI is available in all our apartments, as well as communal areas.
Are your apartments family friendly?
Castletown House apartments are perfectly set up for families.
Are pets allowed?
Pets may be allowed, in particular for longer stays, but arrangements must be made in advance with management. Please also note that additional cleaning charges may apply and only some of the apartments are suitable.
Do you have baby cots and high chairs?
Baby cots and high chairs are available free of charge, but subject to availability, so make sure you notify us of your requirements when making the reservation.
How often will be my apartment be cleaned?
A weekly maid and fresh linen/towel service is included in the price. However additional maid services can be booked through reception (charges apply).
Do you offer corporate rates?

I found a better rate somewhere other than on your website, should I make a reservation online?
Booking with us directly will always ensure you get the best rate for your stay. If for any reason it happens that you find a better rate somewhere else, do give us a call on +44(0)207 386 9423, we will not only match it but also offer further perks for booking directly.
Do you offer any additional services?
Yes, we can offer a range of additional services which you can enquire about at reception. These include daily maid service, printing services, tickets to shows, additional beds and more.
Can you help book taxis?
Yes, we are happy to help. Please enquire at the reception and we will be happy to book on your behalf.
Do you provide luggage storage?
You can leave your luggage with the Manager at reception until your flat is ready or if you have a later flight on the day of departure. We do, however, ask that arrangements are made in advance wherever possible.
